INTRODUCTION TO APPENDIX A
The appendices A 1 through A 25 provide a listing of all
uses of "faith" which we found. Each is 'embellished' to highlight the power
of God and obedience of man concept (of faith) where the underlined phrase
is the inserted value for the parenthetical ( ) quantity.
Brackets [ ] are used to provide added insight or understanding aids.
Each entry is given a title or tag for ease of scanning for later location.
Each is lettered as a further expedient for reference or location.
There is no question that there are many ways to consider these passages;
these represent this compiler's version. Do not hesitate to be blessed as
the Holy Spirit gives you insight to compile your own versions.
APPENDIX A-1
ST. MATTHEW
a) Matthew 6:30 (consider . . . grass of field)
... shall he not much more (clothe) you, ye of little obedience to the
powers of God manifested to you (faith)?
b) Matthew 8:10 (Jesus and centurion)
Verily I say unto you, I have not found so great obedience to the power of
God manifested to anyone (faith), no, not in Israel.
Matthew 8:26 Why are ye fearful, O ye of little

c) Matthew 9:2 (man sick of palsy) ... Jesus, seeing their obedience

NOTE: Appendix B deals with the "expanded forms" of faith in the book of St.
John, seeking to highlight John's direct statements related to God's leading
and man's obedience (or not) which might well have been expressed as
"faith":, etc.

name of Jesus Christ rise walk)

the lame man (faith) in His name, hath made this man strong,
whom ye see and know, yea, the confidence in/obedience to
God's power (faith) which is by him hath given him this
perfect soundness in the presence of you all.
b) Acts 6:5 (seven deacons selected)
...and they chose Stephen, a man full of confidence in the
power of God manifested to him (faith) and of the Holy
Spirit.
c) Acts 6:7 (the word of God increased)
...and a great company of the priests were obedient to the
power of God manifested to them (faith).
