A Call to ARMS – Christians, let the Holy Spirit RULE!!

· As the Lord has defined and provided the Cassette Discipleship Program, which has now grown to be the CDP GLOBAL NETWORK, we know HE has HIS special Caring and Sharing Partners ready, just needing HIS command to “DO IT”!!!

* Yes, the Nationals in the developing countries of the World are set to complete the task. They are ready to multiply from the present 20,000 (plus) Village Evangelists (VEs) to the projected 150,000 VEs (needed to reach out to over half of the World’s previously ignored and forgotten villagers).

* It is TIME, YES, NOW is the TIME for all Christians to CARE and SHARE to get this task completed. It is well underway – where the national VEs are systematically multiplying. Yes, their expansion continues, even using the very effective on-the-job training methods developed in Ghana over the past 7 or 8 years.

* With the VEs multiplying, we have an ever increasing capability to help them really finish well and strong – reaching out to 1.5 to 2 Billion villagers--providing regular and consistent discipleship and home church development,

* The dynamic VE operations pose one area where Audio Players and Bicycles are needed, but too, the multiplying home churches present even a larger need for Audio Players. Indeed, with this growth expected to be to about five home churches per VE, .we anticipate steady growth to at least five players per VE (this can ultimately require 750,000 players at a cost of about $37-Million). This may sound exorbitant, but when one realizes our Volunteers will be Ministering to over 3.5 Billion precious souls, it is truly a very cost effective ministry!

* The Lord has placed on our hearts the need to early seek Caring and Sharing Partners—even those that He has all ready prepared for just such an hour! Perhaps He has already burdened you with this challenge, only needing this specific opportunity to exercise your gift to ENABLE many VEs to reach out to their peers, even right in their own and adjacent villages.

* We have been blessed to see the National leaders and VEs “doing It” through the last decade of growth. Indeed, they are so effective, dedicated to the task, really committed to the Lord and dependent upon His Sovereignty. It is wonderful to see – making us realize anew, that indeed our God is doing it and it is wonderful to behold.

* As to FINISHING STRONG and WELL – the Volunteer VEs and leaders need YOU – they need you to provide the equipment that will allow them to complete the task--even to see that the last one, of those that God has ordained for His kingdom, will be reached! What a blessing is ours--right there where God’s eternal action is taking place—yes, even where we can be found faithful.

* As a reminder: each Player costs right at $50 which includes shipping, import duty and message load. Remember too, the player helps bridge the literacy problem and allows the VE to reach up to six times as many waiting villagers.

* Also, the bicycles cost $100 and are generally available in-country—they are so important to solve the distance and time problems.

CDP-Nigeria: On the move – New Growth in Progress!!!

Just received an update from our new Nigerian Pastor/Partner – Rev. FCM Ogbuji – noting that a full report will be coming soon, but for now noting that they have already established key leadership in all of the remaining 35 States of Nigeria!

Praise the Lord with us – this is progressing just as we had desired – with plans to reach out to the rest of the 100 Million yet ignored and forgotten villagers there in Nigeria. Yes, of the 150 Million (total population) it is estimated that there are over 100 Million villagers that otherwise are ignored and forgotten peoples. YES, these must be reached (truly, without the CDP Global Network these have little opportunity to hear of the Creator/Savior that died for them too).

Remember to always PRAY earnestly – the need is huge, the National leaders and Village Evangelists (VEs) are committed to “do it”--such dedication surely warrants our full support of Audio Players, Bicycles and minor Programmatic Overhead funding. Remember, no salaries are paid – yes, all are VOLUNTEERS! Yes, they all have jobs. They minister evenings and weekends when the people are available also. Please keep on remembering these true worriers of the cross daily in PRAYER!!

Pastor Prince Paul of CDP-Ghana Reports Mentoring with CDP-Togo

I spent three days helping the Togo leadership in Togo, giving training to their VEs, since they will be using the Ambassador Units in our mutual EWE language and EWE tapes. We trained 20 VEs. I also plan to be going to our Ghana EWE language group next week to collect their report for December 2009 and Jan 2010 and also to give training how to use the EWE Bible to finish well, We really need 200 bibles for the VEs to finish the task well The Ambassador units excel for training while most of the Cassette Players are broken. .I also need some funds to make two important trips next week. I attach a picture of the Togo national Director and myself. Most of the other pictures were bad. I will need a good camera in the future,

CDP-GHANA REPORT– Pastor Prince Paul Konu

Thank you all for all of joining God at work in Ghana villages. In the first picture you will see the god of these villagers. A god that they have served for over 300 years, yes, a god made with human hands. We are serving the great God in Heaven. Glory be to God that through CDP we have reached the villagers with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Today we have preached to 250 people who meet every Sunday to listen to gospel in the Mega Voice (Audio Player). They meet under a coconut tree. In the raining season, there will be no meetings for this new believer Keep them in your prayer as the false worshipper are attacking them everyday. They need Bibles since we have only five Bibles for 250 believers and roof for their place of meetings in the future.

Merry Christmas – with JESUS,

The reason for the season. -- My how blessed we are—the recipients of God’s inestimable gift—Immanuel, God with us!!!

As we celebrate JESUS birth and life facing a new and challenging year 2010, we are very encouraged--some new countries are now in progress with the CDP GLOBAL NETWORK, as well as new “blood” for two of our largest countries. In particular, we see terrific signs that point to major breakthroughs in many countries, especially in India and Nigeria.

· Those of us that are deeply involved with the Cassette Discipleship Program’s (CDP Global Network) have just lately confirmed and accepted our tasks for Finishing Well.

· Indeed, the national leaders are now expected to complete their tasks, reaching out with multiplying numbers of Village Evangelists (VEs) to their own ignored and forgotten villagers in the next few years--even as we are ever seeking ways to get added equipments to them.

· Actually, this all further confirms our feelings that our remaining time to Finish Well may be limited. Of course, only our Father-God knows the time remaining—the Holy Spirit will illumine us at the appropriate time as needed.

· As such, we have been led to set the end of 2010 AD as a best estimate when our major involvement in the CDP process could end. This ‘probably’ is not true, but does appear constrained within the general tone of related field situations. This is further compounded by the very negative impotent posture of our own government’s handling of serious aggressive Islamic forces within our country as well as overseas.

· Note that any added time we may have will be considered a plus as to our being able to further assist the nationals in their press to reach all their own villagers that so desperately need to hear about Jesus!

· On a very positive note, we see remarkable strides being made where literally millions of precious souls are being impacted and coming to Christ--being discipled on a regular basis, week by week, as the VEs are living and ministering right in their villages.

· You can rejoice with all of the VEs, the country leaders and all that have cared and shared to help make the CDP GLOBAL NETWORK grow—realizing that one day at Jesus feet we will all have the great blessing of seeing Jesus welcome literally millions of those precious ones into their new home with Him.

· Yes, -- what a great day that will be!!!

INDIA

· Dr. C. D. Jebasingh, you will recall, was the driving force for initiating the CDP activities in India—he and their GIFTS (now The Galileans) group developed the ministry there, maturing the process from 1985 through 2001.

· Indeed, while CDP was solely in India, the Lord brought the Internet and WEB capabilities to us, leading us to develop the WEBSITE: me-intl.org as a plenum of “How to do CDP”.

· The CDP process flourished there, growing to reach out to major parts of the southern states of India—also, laying the groundwork for expanding northward.

· Then, with the need to expand to cover the whole of the territories started, temporary funding problems seemed insurmountable, which at the time caused a general ‘slow down’.

· As the CDP process spread to Africa, and the Lord led the whole program to become fully VOLUNTEER (no salaries to be paid at any level—ours and theirs) it was a difficult transition, but one that is now well established and operative.

· We are seeing India activities in three areas: Southern, Northern and Eastern. Generally speaking the Southern states comprise about 400 million villagers; the Northern states similarly about 400 million villagers, with the Eastern state of Bengali having about 80 million villagers.

· There now appears to be a new breath of Great Commission concern within India—one which we trust the Lord is leading to provide significant support both in programmatic overhead as well as the general leadership and training needs.

· Pray that our Lord of the Harvest will provide abundantly to meet their needs for equipment and general programmatic overhead—allowing all to hear, believe and receive their Savior!

Nigeria

· The CDP process started in Nigeria in 2003 under the leadership of Evangelist Paul Mba, and has been largely focused on one state, it having about 450 VEs ministering.

· In October 2009, our brother Mba alerted us that one of Nigeria’s senior ministers was coming to the states (actually in NY) and hoped we could contact him. His name: Rev. Friday C. Matthew Ogbuji. He had previously been brother Mba’s pastor as well.

· Receiving his call, we concluded that we must talk, so invited him to come to visit us here for a week. He accepted and arrived here on November 13^threturning to NY on November 20^th. And then to Nigeria the following Tuesday.

· Rev. Ogbuji had been a close friend of our CDP leader there for over 30 years, had observed from the sideline, appreciated what CDP was accomplishing, but as he said, never ‘crossed the line’ to be a part of the CDP process.

· It was very interesting to watch, as we shared, to see him switch from observer to a very firm participant and planner to reach the other 35 states of Nigeria via the CDP GLOBAL NETWORK, with our WEBSITE and the Internet providing key communications.

· Brother Ogbuji’s background and present positions in Nigeria include several national leadership roles where he had supervised some 300 pastors and churches for seven years and now is on the decision boards of both the National Board of the Assemblies of God Church and the National Mission Board.

· He is most excited to establish leadership for the CDP process in each of the remaining states of Nigeria—having contacts which he feels will both provide leadership as well as get the local Nigerian churches involved as part of their growing Great Commission responsibility!

· Where Nigeria is our third largest country population center (behind only China and India), we are excited to see how the Lord has gone ahead of us and prepared his servant to do what we thought was impossible. It is truly exciting to see such strong national leadership there.

· Remember to PRAY for Rev. Friday Ogbuji as he seeks to work closely with Evangelist Paul Mba in reaching out to the remaining states of Nigeria.
