Dear Outreacher:

We have much on our hearts right now --

The devastating earthquakes in Gujarat State, India occurred just a
few days after the one in San Salvador. PTL our Gujarat Village Evangelists
(VEs) are ok. They are out in the hinterlands, quite remote from the
epicenter and the big cities which were destroyed. Even so, they had
buildings crack near where they minister. Telephone lines were down for some
time  so we have only obtained sketchy information so far.  More on this
likely next month.  `

Interestingly, these two Quakes were almost diametrically opposite
each other on the Globe -- perhaps the shortest distance for a shock wave is
straight through the earth's diameter -- do you suppose that one can trigger
another that way!

Ghana, Africa's Cassette Discipleship Program (CDP) is really going
ahead fast -- they are ready to minister. Have VEs ready but need cassette
players, and tapes. They are specifically targeting to reach out to about
50-million villagers in the northern parts. Pray for these dear stalwarts --
as they put it all on the line to get the good news of the Gospel to their
lost countrymen. Pray that their needs will soon be met so that they may move
forward with that vital program for the villagers in their northern areas.

Gnanamani and their six Evangelists are busy in church planting and
building -- pray for funds to complete several churches in the grater Tamil
Nadu State area.

For India alone, we are only able to provide monthly funds for about
half of the VEs; -- but,  as a 'make-do' situation, they spread the funds
received equally to the 105 VEs ministering under CDP.  PTL even this
situation has some very significant 'up-sides' -- since this has pressed
automatically for quicker 'nationalistic' spirit and responsibility towards
greater involvement by concerned -- leading towards eventual total national
support.

Another synergism is growing in Pakistan. A young pastor in Karachi
(where not too long ago it was a death penalty on conversion -- and hard time
for evangelism) named Taric has been given information for cassette ministry
-- we trust this will lead to their employing the CDP process to reach
millions in that very difficult land of Pakistan. Pray  for Taric and his VEs.

Visibility to CHURCHES and Mission Boards is much needed -- how to
get them interested -- to care and share -- is one of our main problems.  An
Ambassador program is being formed which can allow any/all to help at various
levels.  Enabling-and-Outreach Ambassadors can grow out of our present
Enablers (donors) and Outreach (interested) Partners -- while key supervisors
and managers for various areas will develop our Encouraging, Coordinating and
Planning Ambassadors.  All this is pointed to multiplying our Enablers --
those that  Care and Share by adopting VEs who can minister for all of us in
the remote Outposts of India's villages -- THAT IS THE BOTTOM LINE
-- TO
MINISTER TO THE LOST IN THE VILLAGES OF INDIA
(and other village oriented areas of the World).

Earthquakes for 2001 have been occurring at a rate of about two per
week -- this, if continued for the rest of the year, would be about 100 for
the year, and right on track per our projections. See the updated graph
through 2000 for actuals and projected for 2001 through 2012  for both High Projection and Low. INTERESTING!

Remember, we expect this increased earthquake activity to obscure activities in Israel -- things that are World shaking (even more than the prevalent earthquakes) -- things keyed to eternity and seeing our Lord Jesus Christ return to gather His Body (the
Church) to Him in-the-air, and later to RETURN in power and great glory to
claim His Bride (true Israel).  Exciting times -- high expectation times --high energy, great fear, the ‘winding down of man's time’ -- set for His time of the 7th millennium.

Rajasthan State Report

Here is a summary report for the Rajasthan State fields from  Dr. Jebasingh
-- it is left in his vernacular just as we received it from him via e-mail
over the Internet:

Dear Jim:

Commencing our work with 15 VEs in October 1999 in Rajasthan Pastor Yuhannan
has been doing a good job.  It was strengthened by the visit of Pratap
Kulkarni in April 2000.  Pratap visited every VE.  Before his return, all
VEs met at a refresher training at Jaipur and the enthusiasm ran very high.

Rajasthan field is the most difficult of all the fields where persecution is
intense.  The state has about 1% Christians.  Therefore I foresaw constant
nurturing of the workers through frequent visits by Pratap.

This was made possible through our funding situation.  In spite of this the
Supervisor and the VEs remained faithful at their ministries.

I have now received some photographs and reports of the work done in the
later part of 2000.  CDP cassettes' use is by and large done along with the
showing of the JESUS film in Hindi. This multi-media approach has been
proving very effective.

In the month of October 2000, three baptisms were done at Dhanakheji village
from where VE Kishenlal Verma is working (in 11 villages around Dhanakheji).
In Photograph 1, Mr.Rakesh is seen being baptized.

He has not only committed his life to Christ, but has also committed himself to do full time work.  As a result, he has joined a simple village Bible School at Alwar.
Through the effort of these newly baptized, a small Prayer Fellowship is set
up in which some of their friends and family members of around 15 attend.

Subsequently, Hindu fanatics have risen against VE Kishenlal Verma and the
group.  As a result the Landlord of the house where he was living asked him
to vacate the house.  Verma is now living in the adjacent village of Alwar
and continuing the work of the prayer fellowship under a tree in a secluded
place.  Prayers are being offered regularly that Verma gets an alternate
accommodation back at Dhankeji village.

The Second field,  where four baptisms took place the first week of November
2000 was at Tonk where VE Reji Samuel is located.  This photo is of Mr.Sohan Lal, Sisters Tanya, Neelambari and Uthara (face not seen).  Two more people are ready for baptism.  They attend the Sunday Services at a small cottage available for the purpose.  Since there is a school is available in this village Gospel literature is also used by the VE along with Cassettes and films.

Our supervisor reports that during the year 2000 a total of 61 baptisms were
held in the various villages in the CDP fields.

During the Christmas season Jesus film in Hindi was shown in villages around
Kotputli from where VE Sunny Thomas functions.  In one of the locations
there was physical attack from which the VE escaped with minor injuries.
One influential person by name Mr.Narayan Agarwal whose mother in law was
healed from Arthritis by the prayer gave protection to our VE.

Regular meetings are held at Bharatpur from where VE Pious Joy is working.
Four people are getting ready to take baptism.

These are the highlights of the ministries in Rajasthan.
