Dear Outreacher: 

·        It is exciting to realize that we are in the mainstream of outreach to the Nations – particularly those that are so lost, normally ignored and forgotten. Yes, and they represent over half of our World’s population!  This is a horrendous need – a huge task.

 ·        But our Cassette Discipleship Program (CDP) growth plan now being implemented already has in place a formidable array of Village Evangelist (VEs) – yes, over 6,000 and growing at about four-to-one per year!

 ·        Lamentably – only about 10% of the VEs have the needed equipments (even now needing about $750,000 to cover present needs). Also, only about 20% of the translated scripts have been master recorded (needs about $60,000 to cover this present need).

 ·        In “round” numbers, we need (can place) $1million worth of equipment and support by the end of 2006 AD, $4million by the end of 2007 AD, and -------

 ·        We are blessed with exceptional growth within the National Network of CDP – and are all WAITING ON THE LORD for His special provision for equipments and support. In the meantime, most VEs are ministering without equipment as best they can!

Note that we are rapidly approaching the “CDP CONVOCATION 2006”

event which will start on 15 September 2006 -- even as our eight continental representatives have been confirmed and visas are in process. Please ask our Father-God to guide minds and give favor to get the necessary papers for all.

·        Basically the Convocation funding is set, but we have had a few things which have taken us by surprise. One of these is the added requirements for visa/passport funds – now totaling about $3,000. Perhaps some of you Outreachers can help us with this special need. – It would be most appreciated!

 ·        The Convocation is shaping up to be a very powerful tool for the future of CDP.  We will get first hand reports from each country, sharing in the testimonies of VEs and leaders alike. Each leader will have an hour to present their report with an added half hour for question and answers.

·        There will also be significant training for them to take back to their leaders and supervisors to allow the File-Transfer­-Protocol (FTP) to be properly applied for our new MP-3 players.

 ·        We would like to invite you to attend any or all of these important Continental presentations as well as the windup CDP CONVOCATION 2006 DINNER at 6:30 PM on Monday the 25^th at the SITAR Restaurant.

·        A Card is provided for your convenience to RSVP – we look forward to your being a part of this great adventure to the Nations.

 ·        We are also providing a spreadsheet schedule for the Convocation, allowing you to better plan to participate with us and them!  (See Page 2)

            Meanwhile, on the fields of the World, CDP activities are accelerating – many precious souls are being drawn to our Lord¸ baptisms are regular events. Churches are being started.  It is truly exciting to see the Nationals “doing it”!

The CDP Convocation 2006

      As you review the Convocation Schedule of Events Planned on Page 2, please note the Eight Seminar periods – allowing each Continental Representative to bring a detailed report to the Convocation body – also allowing each a question and answer period.

       You may find one or more of these presentations of special interest – please feel free to join us.  If you do plan to attend, please call ahead so we can confirm that the schedule has not changed.

       We will be doing all possible to confirm our desire to support their fine efforts with equipment and other technical support as appropriate.

       You will note that we have extended meetings at the USCWM in Pasadena, at the Lake Arrowhead Community Church, and a Safari to let them all see that marvel of spiritual frivolity “Disneyland”. Could not be here without having that great experience.

       The eight representatives will be here from the 16^th through the 25^th – leaving out of LAX on the 26^th. The fellowship will be  great and the planning for future growth will be very poignant. There will be much prayer going to our Father-God concerning the funds needed to allow these dedicated leaders and their Village Evangelists top move forward to reach all the Nations’ Villagers before the end of 2010 AD.

       It is going to be a great time – even though it will be difficult to coordinate this whole group in the face of schedule rigors as well as various “distractions” such as desired shopping, etc., etc.

       We have come to know most of these leaders via rather intense Internet exchanges, however our Director for Africa, Dr. James Butare, has previously met with several of them.

How to Help!

•          P R A Y – yes, the fervent prayer of righteous men avails much!
• Talk up the CDP process – its exclusivity to all Nations.
•          The need for equipment for ministering VEs – at $200.00 per VE.
• Donate for equipment (now need $800,000).
•          Donate for master recording (now need $90,000).
• Pray for our Continental and country leaders – all volunteers.
•          Pray for all the Village Evangelists (over 5,000 now) – all volunteers.
• Ask our Father-God for His funding to meet or exceed their needs.

Waiting on our Father-God

 Yes, we find no other course of action as productive as “Waiting on HIM”.

In His time, He will touch hearts to do it! – until then, we are proceeding on the course that He has set for us – and for them -- as they in the field are ministering even without equipment.  Many precious souls are being brought to Jesus!
