Dear Outreacher:

            Greetings in  HIS  Mighty Name – Even JESUS our Savior and Lord! I hope that your  heart of hearts also surges with great joy when you consider that greeting – for the height and depth and breadth of His LOVE and HIS caring and sharing are truly inestimable. AMAZING still is one of the best exclamations coming from our hearts. Yes, PRAISE HIM!!!

                We have been saddened, yet full of joy, that our dear Brother Dominic Bertrand has been ushered into the presence of the Lord this last few weeks—it was he that helped introduce the Cassette Discipleship Program (CDP) to AFRICA in 2003 AD. He will be missed greatly! – Basically, the network then was at just over 110 Countries which has now expanded to over 180 in 2007 AD.

                NOW, let me say that we are being blessed as many of you have responded to our challenging need for AMBASSADOR Units for all of our 15,000+ and future Village Evangelists (VEs).  We will soon be able to place another 100 Units with VEs – allowing them to be much more efficient in reaching out to their 10,000 villagers (a  total of about 1-MILLION villagers to be reached!)

                Actually, each of our eight “Continental” groups will soon need about 8,000 AMBASSADOR Units, and we trust these will be covered by the end of this year. That is a total of 64,000 Units which will allow outreach to about 640 Million villagers. Interestingly, this is about 1/5^th the total needed world-wide to reach all the developing country’s villagers (some 3 to 4 BILLION total).

                As important as the audio players are – the VEs are still severely limited if they do not have bicycles.  Yes, for each to cover their 10,000 villagers, generally located in ten surrounding villages, they need “wheels”, and bicycles are the “wheels of choice” to most effectively allow them to be regularly available in all ten of their villages on a timely basis.  Typically bicycles range in price from $70.00 to $100.00 depending upon the specific country and their related import duties, etc.

                Now, as we are seeing the AMBASSADOR Units starting to build up in donor interest, we see that it is similarly important to initiate increased interest in providing the VEs with Bicycles. We would like to ask:  -- How many Bicycles will you provide?

                However, once things settle out a bit for players and bicycles, we hope that for the BIG push to finish really strong (for the remaining 80% of the effort) that our Father-God will bless us to have the more optimum situation where for the rest of the program through 2010 AD we will be able to meet all of their needs (not just the tip of the iceberg), having $250.00 per VE provided (once only) for player, bicycle, recording help and some other important programmatic overheads.  Remember, we and they are all VOLUNTEERS and only need equipment and minor overhead support.

                We have been blessed to see our Father-God “doing it” – yes, HE has gone ahead of us and continues to meet our every need -- and, it is interesting to see how HE is using many of YOU in this process – for only HE can stir hearts to care and share.
