                    This is M/E’s 60th Year of Ministry

       Yes, Howard Pettman, the first President (of then Missionary Electronics, Inc.), with his wife Doris, started the ministry in 1948, back in Syracuse, N.Y. -- moving both the ministry and family out west to California (Los Angeles area) in the early 1950’s. The Lord led us to join this creative and dedicated group in 1952.

       The first 36-years were spent in developing and manufacturing special audio tape and cassette players and low and multi-powered public address systems for use in developing countries. Progressively we became more global and were increasingly challenged with the needs of the developing countries.

       The last 23-years have found us working with GIFTS of India (now called The Galileans) in developing and maturing the Cassette Discipleship Program (CDP) for India and then Ghana, Africa In 2001. Liberia, Nigeria and Kenya were added in the next few years.

       Late in 2003 we saw the interest of Cameroon come alive – especially after our Dr. James Butare’s verification trip to Ghana, which turned into a mini-conference by inviting the other interested African Countries to meet him there in Ghana. It proved to be a key meeting – bringing assurance to the Cameroon group who had been training evangelists and pastors for many years – even then having contacts for all Africa and key areas of the World. In just a few weeks they had brought in about 110 countries with key leaders desiring to reach all their country’s villagers with The Gospel by the end of 2010 AD.

       Early in 2004 AD these had brought other key country leaders to us – seeing the CDP ranks swell to 145 and then 185 countries of record as our South American Coordinator in Brazil expanded their coordination efforts to include another 30 smaller countries in the southern hemisphere, including Mexico, Central Americas, Cuba, Dominican Republic, etc.

       It is interesting that the Lord had put a desire in the heart of these country leaders to reach their own villagers – they just needed a way to effectively do it! When the CDP process came to them, they eagerly responded. They particularly appreciate being em-powered as VOLUNTEERS – working for their Lord – autonomously using our WEBSITE: me-intl.org as the plenum of information they need to implement their activities.

       Indeed, the Lord has provided us with a remarkable network of key and dedicated leaders and VEs – all committed to reach out to their own peer groups of villagers. Yes, each VE has a responsibility to 10 Villages, about 10,000 villagers – located in and around his own village. Truly, it is villager reaching out to villager – a most effective mission strategy (certainly most cost effective). All they/we need is equipment and some programmatic overhead support. Yes, as most know, we here in the USA are also all VOLUNTEERS.

       As you can imagine, we are always seeking improved contact, support and reporting helps for these countries. As such, we manage this network via eight “Continental” Coordinators – each of whom have a number of countries they coordinated – and some, like China and India, have many regions or districts to handle. We here in the USA maintain coordination for Ghana, Liberia, Nigeria and Kenya.

       Early in 2007 AD the Continental Coordinators reported about 10,000 Village Evangelists (VEs) in training and/or ministry – China at that time reported about 4,900 VEs – we can only surmise that after an added growth period (4-to-1 per growth period) that the new number of VEs could arguably now be as high as 40,000 VEs trained and/or in ministry.

       World-wide, given equipment and required
overhead support, these can reach the target of 300,000 VEs by the end of 2010 AD. These VEs then will reach out to about 3 or 4-BILLION villagers, with perhaps at least a BILLION of these precious ones coming to our Lord for His Salvation – His Joy – His Peace – for eternity!!!

Units Delivered AMBASSADOR

            We have just seen a new batch of 700 AMBASSADOR Units distributed to our various Continental Coordinators, including: Africa, China, India, with South America in process, plus our special countries of: Ghana, Nigeria and Liberia receiving units – with Kenya even now in final process.  Please keep in mind that each of these go to a VE who will reach out to another 10,000 added precious souls. .We still have our groups in Indonesia, Russia and Europe to get such ‘samples’.

             This ‘sampling’ of small quantities is a good step forward, especially since we now have firm addresses and people confirmed to receive the units for each group.  MegaVoice takes care of shipping and all import problems!  They have proven themselves a wonderful partner!  We should say too that Global Recordings has also been a most cooperative partner in making the needed  audio messages available to MegaVoice for us for these units – 62 languages in this batch of Units. PTL for providing such great help!

             Of course, we need thousands of these players – right now, at least 15,000 are needed!

    Financial partners

We, the National Leaders and VEs are ready! – They and we only need their equipment and programmatic overhead funds.  Given these, they can get the job done – yes, they can reach out to all of their villagers by the end of 2010 AD.

 SO – we need to pray in the needed Financial Partners

for equipment and overhead funds

           One encouraging group contacted us just this month, indicating they want to provide systematic growth quantities of AMBASSADOR Units to us and others – asking us to help them define such need. This sounds perfect – basically providing equipment in a systematic manner that we will need to best handle getting equipment to the fields in a timely and effective manner. This systematic growth pattern should also help our national leaders establish and maintain a good rapport to best meet their governmental import requirements. The below Spread Sheet provides such a growth perspective, attempting to echo a plan which has been discussed with our enquiring group. Interestingly, it provides quantities at a pace which you can see is very near perfect for our desired ETA (Estimated Time of Arrival) for completion of our CDP task by the end of 2010 AD.

          It is interesting to realize that our job can well be done by the end of 2010 AD – giving the nationals the ability to complete their tasks in the following months or years as necessary, even without any further direct involvement with them!  SELAH!!!

         Of course, the month by month costs are the important figures; they too are growing proportionately with the monthly need amounts. -- growing at $22,500.00 per month per month as seen in the fourth column of the spread sheet on page 3.

            It is obvious, to even a casual observer, that these are significant funds that definitely need the Hand of our Father-God to provide. We know He will provide in His Time and in His own way.

            We have been encouraged by those that contacted us, showing that this type of funding is not completely out of reach – so to speak. It is ‘out there someplace’. – Perhaps only needing our Father-God to cash in a few hundred thousand head of His cattle on those thousand hills. But, then, I have learned long ago not to tell my Father-God how to do His miracles – we ask – He does it His way and in His time!  PTL!!! – HE WILL DO IT!!!  REMEMBER – IT IS HIS PROGRAM!  -- From HIS HEART OF HEARTS! – Remember, He desires that none parish – He has led us all the way!!!

We have not mentioned the quantity and cost of bicycles and the programmatic overhead.

But, as a ball park estimate – the bikes cost about twice the cost of the players and the overhead requirements scale to right at 2.5 times the player costs.  This totals to almost $160-Million to finish the task. The bicycles in general will be bought  in each country, while the overhead funds will be dispensed from the CDP-USA office as scheduled and against specific orders.

YES – PRAY YE THE LORD OF THE HARVEST!!
