    Greetings for the New Year 2008 AD – even the year of our Lord 2008.  May we each be drawn ever closer to our Lord and for His plan and purposes in and through our lives. Yes, we want you to enjoy good health and prosperity – sure – but even more important, we want your light to shine for Him, at home and even to the Nations.

             So, may 2008 AD be a pivotal year for advancing the cause of Christ everywhere. Of course, for the Cassette Discipleship Program (CDP) we look to reach the next outreach level for the Nations! This is certainly our Prayer and Plan!

            First of all, let me say that MegaVoice is right in the middle of shipping our first 700 AMBASSADOR Units to eight of our Continental Leaders for further distribution to the various countries they coordinate. We PTL for the care and details that the MegaVoice staff employs to see that the units will arrive and be properly received – they are very thorough! This batch of players is very important, establishing the firm shipping channel for each ‘continent’ – now prepared to move into larger quantities as the Lord provides the funding.  To this end, we are asking the Lord for HIS donors to provide these equipment and programmatic overhead funds.  This need is growing by three to one every six months!

            You know – 2007 AD was a very key year to see the CDP mature and move forward to the Nations. We didn’t see that truth (couldn’t see the forest for the trees), -- at least, not until we reviewed the summary data, realizing that it was true! Yes, 2007 AD saw over 200 Million villagers “in our outreach sights” – most being reached by Village Evangelists (VEs) ministering without player or Bicycles. Nevertheless, the outreach to the Nations Harvest has been very significant and we want to review some of this remarkable progress with you!

             We digress for a moment, desiring first to let us all ruminate a bit on the key partners and CDP leaders and evangelists the Lord has blessed us with:

Profiling a Typical Village Evangelist (VE)

·         Loves the Lord – VOLUNTEERS to care and share Him to his villagers.

·         Probably not literate – uses audio players.

·         Home is in one of his 10 villages he serves.

·         Ministers under a local supervisor.

·         He is trained As an On-the-job candidate with an active VE for 6-months.

·         He regularly reaches out to the villagers of his 10 villages (about 10,000 villagers).  The villagers are hungry to hear of the true and living God who loves them.

·         On-the-job trains three candidate VEs every 6-months.

·         Regularly plants new church fellowships.

·         Reports regularly to his supervisor.

·         Works his day job and ministers evenings.

·         Needs a bicycle to regularly reach his 10,000 villagers.

                Once one sees the commitment and intimate relationship the VE enjoys with his peers, we understand better just how they reach out in convincing ways to the villagers that need the Lord.  Too, it is interesting, that the villagers are “ready” – they have long waited to hear of the true and living God, some have even said – “where have you been”?

            Taking that one step further, we see that each VE relates very naturally to the villagers – for, at one time, he was just as they are!

   The Benefits of using Village Evangelists (VEs)

•          They live among their villagers – relate!

•          They are same ‘size’ and skin color!

•          They speak the same language.

•          They eat the same foods and water.

•          Their immune systems are set.

•          They understand the villagers ways.

•          They are accepted and respected!

•          They easily communicate to the villagers!

•          They care and share with their peers.

Some other Harvest Totals to Consider

•         The previous panels represent best estimates of results for 2007 AD from just Ghana and China.

•         Extrapolating these values to the end of 2010 AD (based upon having equipment for all VEs by mid 2009 AD) we project a potential total harvest well in excess of a Billion precious souls.

YES, the Power of One

•         With VEs all over the World – by the thousands – we find it difficult to comprehend the ‘near astronomical’ quantities of the harvest reported

•         Each VE is essentially an independent and unique entity – yet, very similar.                  

•         Yes, each VE is unique and potent, -- an independent yet typical force for presenting the Gospel to the Nations.

 •         So then, -- the summation of all the VE’s harvest projections, in a country and/or over the whole World, is seen to be quite meaningful and accurate. 

 •         Yes, as such, even now (2007 AD) the World’s CDP harvest is arguably over 15 million souls.

Potential CDP Harvest

•         With the 2007 AD “Power of One” VEs we have experienced major harvests – showing conclusively that the CDP process is on track and viable – poignant and worthy of full support.

•         YES -- we have a World class network of dedicated VEs (each a “Power of One”) – all uniquely continuing to add into a major End-Time harvest of SOULS, -- even by the end of 2010 AD.

IS IT POSSIBLE?  -- SIMPLY STATED – YES!!!

            Even as One leads 20 to the Lord, all the “ones” (thousands the World over) add up to “realistic” totals which are mind boggling!  Yes, -- the “Power of One” which is vested by The Lord Jesus Christ!  Really, an overwhelming force, in the power of His Might – via His Holy Spirit!!

 Remember too, that each ministering VE has three candidates working with him most of the time – yet another powerful degree of outreach and generally added support to the presentation of the Gospel!
