He is Coming Again!

           Last month we celebrated the powerful and miraculous resurrection of our Savior and Lord from the grave!  YES, He conquered death for you and me!  That great event has now re-empowered us to be about His business – to “Go Ye” to lost villagers (over half of the World’s population!)

           Now, here in the 21^st century – we are faced anew with that challenge – yes, and we somehow feel a new sense of urgency! – We feel we must get the job done soon!  In that context, we had (in 2004 AD) felt the urge of His Spirit to get the job done by the end of 2010 AD. That now means we have about 2-1/2 years left!  Can it be done?  No, not humanly possible!  BUT, God!  In His power, by the might of His Holy Spirit, it can be done! YES!

             How??

             The stage is actually set – most of the leadership World-wide is in place (all are volunteers), but they must now be confirmed and fully EMPOWERED.

             As we have been reviewing this situation, we realize anew that our dedicated and committed leaders really need more of our help.  Yes, they are volunteers, but, they are essentially powerless to establish and grow the needed networks all around the globe without our help in programmatic overhead areas.

             In particular, they need help to communicate. This translates into a need for basic computers, as well as monthly internet and telephone expenses. You know, these are things we take for granted here -- but there, it is a major challenge, essentially impossible. 

             So, to quicken this vital global network, we want to help these “workers in the harvest fields of the World” to have the basic computer capability as well as the needed internet and telephone service to allow them to be most effective and punctual in both local activities  and communications with us.

             What will such a capability cost?

             On a single country basis, the cost of a Computer at about $1,000.00 plus $150.00 per month for Internet and Telephone capability appears OK.  However, when scaled to all countries (typically 185 or more) it means an up front cost of about $185.000.00 for computers and monthly costs of about $27,750.00 for Internet and Telephone expenses. Fair sized monetary requirements, yet, when related to expected results, is an almost insignificant amount.

             Ideally, perhaps the Lord will have 185 donors to volunteer to regularly meet this monthly $150.00 stipend to EMPOWER each country to full strength – yes, significantly help them reach out to hundreds of thousands of lost villagers! Truly, that moves our EMPOWERMENT from the verbal positional situation to the proactive capability not possible before. PTL indeed!

Will you help ‘jump start” this vital capability – this network that will ultimately reach out to over 4-BILLION Villagers – and potentially see perhaps a BILLION come to our Lord!

Will you accept this $150/month challenge?

Ghana, Africa   

 Pastor Prince Paul Konu continues to reach out to the remote Villagers of Ghana.  Here is a very recent letter from him:

             DEAR BROTHER JIM AND LYLE. 

            WE ARE SERVING A GREAT GOD IN HEAVEN.  WE HAVE HAD A GREAT TIME PRESENTING THE BIBLES TO OUR LEADERS AND PASTORS HERE.  GOD BLESS YOU AND THE DONORS SO MUCH.

             ONE OF THE PASTORS SAID:  “YOU HAVE ‘BLESSED US’, BECAUSE IT WOULD TAKE SIX MONTHS TO SAVE FUNDS TO BUY ONE BIBLE.”  (Note: each Bible costs $6.00)

             WE ARE IN THE PROCESS TRAINING 96 MEN FOR MINISTRY IN THE COUNTRYSIDE, 50 OF THEM ARE PASTORS.  PASTOR STANLEY (SENOR PASTOR OF DAYBREAK FAMILY WORSHIP CENTER IN DES MOINES IOWA), SPENT 10 DAYS WITH ME HELPING IN TRAINING THE 50 PASTORS.  IT WAS A GREAT TIME.  HE SPOKE FROM 9 AM TO 5 PM EACH DAY. HE ALSO PREACHED IN THE OPEN AIR CRUSADE AT NIGHT AND 89 PEOPLE GAVE THEIR LIVES TO CHRIST.

 WE NEED A NEW PHOTO COPIER AND PRINTER, OURS HAS BROKEN DOWN. IT SEEMS TO BE THE WORK OF THE DEVIL. NEEDS YOUR PRAYERS. GOD BLESS YOU FOR YOUR GREAT HELP.

The CDP process has been expanding World-wide in an amazing way. 

But, true to human frailties, we have hit various snags from time to time – just enough to keep us “on our knees” and alert.

But, PTL for His leading and consoling Spirit – keeping us all moving under His command!  Yes, since all are volunteers, authoritative decisions are always tempered by His Spirit –

This allowing autonomous leadership EMPOWERMENT and Village Evangelist ENABLING – but, only as THE LORD PROVIDES.
