MANY FEEL WE ARE RUNNING OUT OF TIME!

            You know, – our BOTTOM LINE – our challenge -- is to take His LOVE to all the LOST VILLAGERS that we can! Indeed, that is what the Cassette Discipleship Program (CDP) is all about!  It is His love that these FORGOTTEN AND IGNORED ones hear and accept. – Yes, their only true Creator-God that loves them!   When hearing, they gladly come to Jesus!

             Actually, we are so blessed, even as we are having the opportunity to help Nationals in many areas of the World to “do it” themselves. Indeed, our Return-On-Investment (ROI) will never be fully known this side of Heaven. But, we, and so many of you, that are helping to fund this vital network to His Glory, will one day be blessed “out of our collective socks” as  we view the multitudes that  have come to  our Lord via  the CDP Village Evangelists (VEs).

             Oh yes, there have been sad and bad days – but on the average it has been blessing poured out on blessing.  We have seen remarkable dedication and commitment of Continental and National leaders,  as wall as the thousands of Village Evangelists (VEs) that are on the “front lines” – literally pouring out their souls to their needy villagers. With all being VOLUNTEERS, it is truly a remarkable global network that is most effectively dispensing The Gospel’s Good News to hungry hearts.

CDP-CHINA

            We have been especially blessed this last week as CDP-China is back in our sights, having been “cut off” from us, apparently due to heightened security surrounding the Olympics. At any rate, Praise the Lord, we are back in communication with our brothers in China.

             They report having 7,000 VEs ministering and we are trusting that they will be able to regain their former momentum to fully implement their network within the on-the-job training plan that has been so successful in CDP-Ghana, i.e., placing three candidate VEs with each ministering VE for a 6-months growth period. Of course, they will need a growing number of audio players and bikes – providing a stimulus that is necessary to see that vast part of China to be reached in a timely manner! 

            Our China leaders will also need some Programmatic Overhead help to get fully back up to their desired schedule of growth and outreach. This is understandable when one realizes that they are challenged to reach out to about 700-Million rural peoples. Presently, their 7,000 VEs now have the potential to reach about 70-Million villagers, but most still need audio players and bicycles.  – So, you can appreciate that they will have some significant expenses both in needed equipment as well as some travel expenses as they must travel over much of that very large country!  Pray for them and us as we seek to help meet their needs!

             Recall that CDP-China’s demographic study had shown that 600-million people were in the cities, while 700-million were in the rural areas having some 124 regions and about 84 heart-languages. So, as we are working with them to get reestablished with needed computer and Internet capabilities, as well as redefining their overall mission objective and specific needs, they will need audio players and bicycles to facilitate the growth needed!  Keep praying for them (and us) that we might have His plan and be faithful and alert to His leading – waiting on the Lord! Remember,

CDP-China’s expected harvest of souls should easily exceed 280-million, even if they come close to the capability that we have seen develop in CDP-Ghana.

            CDP-China has a truly holistic capability, being very involved in also reaching out to those having HIV/AIDS; this is a very grave problem all over China.  Pray for our Brothers there, that they might always be found faithful to our Lord’s call on their lives!  This HIV/AIDS concern of course provides them with a very practical acceptability with all levels of government.

Note:  We will be presenting here a case for large donors to take a significant part in these activities, but please note that we are heavily dependent upon all donors to help us meet on-going challenges and overhead requirements.  All levels  of donors are important and needed as the Lord impresses it on your heart!

The Imperative for Verification-Donors

The Cassette Discipleship Program (CDP) Global Network to the Nations is growing. It is providing a remarkable potential for reaching out to Villagers that otherwise are basically ignored and forgotten peoples. However, we find that believability is almost always in question and demanding accreditation. This seems peculiarly so since we and they are all VOLUNTEERS!

           But, from our perspective, the National leaders, over months and years of careful work, have proved their character and their zeal, -- including careful completion of the following programmatic functions, -- which further verified their dedication and commitment to the overall CDP strategy and plan:  They have:

·        Established a key National Steering Committee of three or more trusted and dedicated leaders.

·        Completed a functional demographic study and plan for placing Outposts of 20 VEs systematically into appropriate Tiers of language areas.

·        Located and trained one or two Outposts per language Tier, – with 20 or more VEs per language to start ministry.

·        Translated the “Cassette Messages” from WEBSITE: me-intl.org for each of the key languages to be used into related scripts for future recording (interim messages from Global Recordings may be the desired initial message sets).

·        Placed the first Outpost of 20 VEs into ministry along with three candidate VEs with each ministering VE for a 6-month on-the-job-training period.

·        Need for Audio Players and Bikes which will be provided as the Lord provides  the required funding.

·        Understood that all VEs will probably operate for some time without equipments – learning basic skills of witnessing and interfacing with Villagers effectively.

          It is clear why we have great faith in the Network – for we have seen it grow and reach out to the lost. Yet, too, we understand that Verification is essential, especially where we seek key financial support for the larger growth impact that is right on the horizon.  Yes, going from hundreds of thousands of those harvested to our Lord of the Harvest per year, to millions and eventually perhaps a BILLION, where the total to be reached is arguably almost 4-BILLION (yes, over half the World’s population)! Clearly we need significant financial partners to join our dedicated team – providing the tools for the harvest -- so, solid verification of capability and growth is a must. Someone or some group(s) will be blessed as they partner with us in this great adventure to the Nations.

A  LETTER TO POTENTIAL DONORS

Dear Potential Donor:                                         February 2009      

             We are coming to you on the very heals of a remarkably successful Network of Village Evangelists: The Cassette Discipleship Program (CDP) Global Network started in India in 1984. It matured there for about 16 years. NOW, since 2000 AD it has ‘crept’ into most areas of the World, is now in 2009 AD poised to reach out to all the ignored and forgotten peoples of the World – really over half the World’s population.  This is possible by use of the Internet and our “how to do CDP” WEBSITE:  me-intl.org.

             We know that you want to see HIS KINGDOM activities flourish and your related funds and efforts be fruitful – to reach lost souls – perhaps, to bring millions to Jesus and place them in churches and under good Biblical training and discipleship!

             Therefore, we have developed an approach for you to become significantly and confidently involved in this amazing “grass roots” process to reach lost villagers and even hasten the day for Christ’s return!!   Yes you really can – See Matthew 24:14.

             But how can you be sure? Very simple!!  Either, accept our historic verification, go yourself or send your representative on a VERIFICATION TRIP to one or more of our fields of Outreach with one of our Key Verification personnel.   

            Yes, before you invest large sums to allow you to help HARVEST hundreds of thousands, even millions of precious villagers per year, -- you can sample the program, and leadership – you can see the process – you can see some of the fruit of the past/present harvests!

             That’s Right!!  We have seen it grow and multiply – have seen hundreds of thousands come to our Lord – are now ready for the full harvest -- NOW it is your turn to see for yourself and then to confidently put your “shoulder to the wheel” – helping millions to come to our Lord!

             Since we are pressed for time, we also plan to have our Key Verification person do a very timely Audio/Digital Process Training on the same trip! – This is key to the surge we see coming from thousands to millions of respondents – taking the recording capability to the next level -- in preparation for finishing strong in the ensuing time remaining.

             Now, in summary: we propose a dual phased project – where:

Each PHASE 1: VERIFICATION TRIP (to a country) will cost about $10,000.00 for your and our representative to make the two week trip – providing adequate time to visit and meet key leaders and Village Evangelists in typical outreach areas, including a few days to train already primed nationals with their own recording system that your team takes to them.

             While there, you will see the inner workings of the network – its demographic background and purposeful plan – the process of translating the WEBSITE: me-intl.org Cassette Messages and Bible portions to the heart languages of the area. Yes, to place VEs of the correct language in Tiers of growth to pace the updated demographic plan.  Thereafter you can be comfortable in funding future Phases of outreach.
