We are excited – we are expectant – we are wondering – but, we must wait on the Lord!!!

Remember: Luke 4:18-19   -- Jesus said: "The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, because He anointed Me to preach the gospel to the poor. He has sent Me to proclaim release to the captives, and recovery of sight to the blind, to set free those who are oppressed, to proclaim the favorable year of the Lord."

 

            Yes, as the Lord set this incredible stage – He has commissioned us to GO YE into all the World.

Matthew 28:18 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. 19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: 20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, [even] unto the end of the world. Amen.

            This is what the Cassette Discipleship Program (CDP) Global Network is all about – and the nationals are busy and effectively doing it!!  PTL and keep these great messengers of the Gospel in PRAYER!!! 

WE PRESS ON SEEKING TO ENABLE WITH EQUIPMENT

             You know that we have always pressed hard to get audio players and bikes for the Village Evangelists (VEs) in our CDP Global Network!  Yes, and we still feel constrained to help them all multiply their capabilities -- for the Players give them about six times the outreach, and the bikes about 12 times the capability! Each player costs right at $50 and bridges the literacy problem; while the bikes cost about $100 and solve the distance challenges!

OVER THE PAST EIGHT YEARS – their own witnessing

             Interestingly, to date, operating over the last eight years, the major effort (over 90%) has been done by those not having any equipment. They have gone out under the power of the Holy Spirit – just as the disciples did when Jesus was here!  Somehow, that has become the proper and right way for them to minister. So, when they are trained and learn the scripts they are able to personally articulate the message in a very real and personal way – yes, in a powerful way.  As such, their message does not have a ‘foreign’ flavor and is friendly and comfortable for all to hear and understand. You see, it is one of their own, witnessing of his own salvation in and through the very messages being given!

NEED FOR PLAYERS AND BIKES – the NO EQUIPMENT alternative – in GOD’S HANDS!!!

            As we  have all settled into the CDP activities over these last several years, we have chaffed a bit about need for players and bikes, and yes we had proved their relative worth as noted earlier – yet, the commitment and dedication of the leaders and VEs has been so great that it has become quite obvious that they can continue to ‘multiply’ each growth period by 4-to-1 just as they are – yes, they CAN DO IT WITHOUT EQUIPMENT, however, it may require 3 or 4 added growth periods to accomplish the same outreach. One problem – do we know we have the extra time?  If we do, perhaps it is OK, but if time is somehow ‘truncated’ – then they need the equipment NOW!  So, to be sure, we should provide the equipment as early as possible! Precious souls are at stake! We must leave this decision up to our Lord. THEREFORE:  we wait on the Lord for His provision, knowing that He is never late and He won’t lose even one that is His! 

VERIFICATION TRIPS

             As we wait on the Lord – we are establishing a VERIFICATION TRIP process which can provide significant donors the unimpeachable verification of field performance which they may desire.  Yes, a two week tour of typical CDP Global Network countries will allow their representative to travel with one of our staff personnel to obtain first hand verification of on-going activities. 

         THE  CDP  GLOBAL  NETWORK is “DOING IT”

• Thousands of VEs are Ministering.
• The Nationals are committed to the task and determined to do it for the Lord.
• Each VE reaching out to thousands – up to about 10,000 villagers.
• Most VEs minister without equipment.
• Only about 6% have players (each costs $50 for 6X the outreach).
• Only about 3% have bikes (each costs $100 for 12X the outreach).
• Players help bridge the literacy challenges.
• Bikes help bridge the distance challenges.
• Effective outreach is potentially multiplying by 4-to-1 each growth period.
• Without equipment, generally equivalent outreach can be accomplished by multiplying up through 3 or 4 added growth periods!

TELEPHONE and VIDEO Services via SKYPE

             SKYPE is a FREE service that works in conjunction with the Internet. a small camera and microphone unit (only costs about $50) allows you to both verbally and visually communicate with others anywhere in the World that has similar equipment and Internet capabilities. Built within this unit is the capability to always see your transmitted image and appropriately zoom in and out as desired to show one person’s head or a room full of participants.

             Pastor Prince Paul Konu, in Ghana, Africa, and I have talked several times over this system this last month – it is special to be able to see the one(s) you are talking with.

             Earlier last year, we used this in a training/teaching role with students in various African countries. It is a powerful medium that we have yet to fully explore!

EARTHQUAKES , PESTILENCES AND DECEIT – see JESUS’ prophesy in Matthew 24:

Mat 24:6  And ye shall hear of wars and rumors of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all [these things] must come to pass, but the end is not yet.

Mat 24:7  For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be

Mat 24:8 famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.

                  All these [are] the beginning of sorrows.

Mat 24:9  Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake.

Mat 24:10  And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another.

Mat 24:11  And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.

Mat 24:12  And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.

Mat 24:13  But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.

Mat 24:14  And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.

It is interesting to speculate just where we are in this Matt. 24 chronological presentation – it would appear that we are entering into the Mathew 24:9,10 and 11 period of time,  – and certainly we can relate to “iniquity abounding” – I think we all rebel at what we are seeing transpire right in front of us!! – We  hate it! BUT, we are asked to stand and wherewithal to stand when we are confronted  with such negative actions. Must have the full armor of God to be able to stand against such  openly evil activities!

           I know, we  don’t want to think about having to put up with some of these situations – certainly not being hated and killed, etc. But then, that seems to be the message – if we don’t like it we must take it up with the Lord, not the messenger.

           At any  rate – Jesus is very specific, and confirms Daniel the Prophet’s information that was sealed  (Dan. 12:4) but is now unsealed -- with the End Time projected.  Daniel also delineated a finer grained chronology (Daniel 12:11,12, where only the start of the Daily Sacrifice (DS) is needed to tie it all into our calendar! This then allows delineating the DS time and period, which also then points to the Prince of Israel in Ezekiel 37.

 Yes, we better be careful to keep God’s full  armor on, with both the shield of

 Faith and the Sword of the Spirit at the ready! These truths can and will be awesome – way out of  our normal ‘box’ of information. As such, we must be very proactive to hone our discernment, in the light of experiences and related actions. Remember, we will often be challenge to our very core values and senses. Above all – believe Jesus and do what He tells you to do!

PROGRESS OF NEW COUNTRY CDP ACTIVITIES

                        Ivory Coast,  Sierra Leone,  and Northern India are all now in process with key CDP leadership established including related steering committees to handle all the needed demographic studies, translation of WEBSITE: me-intl.org messages and scriptures,  as well as locating and training VEs to fill the needed  outposts for each key heart language. By the way, our key languages are those  that allow about 80% of the villagers to understand the messages and VEs.

These are  reportedly all working hard to early be able to set up the first few outposts of 20 VEs in each of their key languages – along with the coupling of three candidate VEs with each ministering VE – allowing this on-the-job training to imbue the desired growth of their network into the viable entity needed to soon  reach all those that otherwise were forgotten and ignored.

                        We are very encouraged that each of these groups have very responsible and dedicated leadership – having expressed a level of interest and commitment that is truly exemplary.  Time will tell as we have the privilege of working with them in and through some of these challenging areas.  Please – PLEASE – remember them as your go to our Father-God’s throne of Grace – don’t hesitate to plead their case – there are millions of precious souls at stake!
