Dear Outreacher: 

      We trust that you continue to be blessed as you study the CDP GLOBAL NETWORK country chart we gave you last month in our Newsletter--it conveys truly remarkable statements for the dedication and commitment of the National leaders and Village Evangelists (VEs). We certainly Praise The Lord upon every remembrance of these hero’s of the faith—these that have shown themselves to be vulnerable yet standing firm in the Sovereignty of our Father God.

        Hopefully you noted some key areas for Effective Prayer: in particular, nearly all our VEs need Bicycles—this is truly a stark and glaring need.  Remember that Pastor Prince Paul Konu of CDP-Ghana found that a bicycle allows the VE to reach out to about 12-times the outreach, simply because he is better able to reach the villagers on a timely basis.  Yes, we have a great desire to provide a bicycle to every VE, allowing him to finish strong and well!  Remember that our Father God cares and would have none to perish—AND, only He knows those that yet must hear in each Country/Region of the world.

        We have just this last few weeks been able to send funds to CDP-TOGO for 20 Bicycles – this will allow their VEs to catch-up a bit since they were later in getting started.

            The Audio Players are now being primarily used in the training mission—thus allowing the VEs to hone their Story-Telling skills via the redundant playing/hearing of the key messages. Soon though, quantities of Audio Players will be needed to provide each of the new church fellowships with good scriptural teaching.

            Remember that our primary mission, once the CDP-Country is established, is to provide the VEs equipment even as the Lord Provides funds to us. What a joy it is to help them reach out to their own villagers ever more effectively! 

            We are mindful that each VE represents a very significant “tool” for Outreach – each one (arguably) leading up to a thousand precious souls to our Lord per year. 

             This reflects into a truly awesome total potential that only our Father-God really knows. However, the outreach and discipleship continues, even as home churches are planted and growing! 

             Also, as we noted last month, we have a strong sense of kinship, desiring to prayerfully protect and help these country groups to the best of our ability -- yet, we realize that in the final analysis we may well be helpless to provide any significant help or support in future days!  Please keep this all before His Great Throne of Grace!!

             We have been reminded from scripture that, not all will  respond positively to the Word of Truth – but, thankfully, that is not our problem – it is our responsibility (via the VEs) to tell them --  it is up to the Holy Spirit to convince and save them!

 Bicycles Needed

             With over 20,000 VEs now ministering – actually there may be another 20,000 or so since China’s last response was early in 2009 and should now be to over 30,000 VEs if they have maintained the Four-to-One growth via on the job training that is part of their planned process. But, we can now profitably place at least 20,000 Bicycles. Of course, every single bicycle provided is great–for each VE so equipped is able to reach out to up to 12 times the precious souls!

              With each Bicycle costing about $100.00, how many will you send?—Remember, where each bicycle helps to reach between 10,000 and 20,000 villagers, for Jesus, how many villagers do you want to reach?

Beloved Brothers:

            Salutations and love to you in the wonderful name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

CDP-Togo is very very grateful for your love and concern for us and more especially the un-reached souls in Togo.

            We are saying with one voice; Thank you and God Bless you abundantly.

We had the $1600 sent to us through our Bankers for the purchase of 20 bicycles for our VEs.

            With the $1600, we are able to buy 16 bicycles today, because there has been an upward adjustment to $100 per bicycle on the market since fuel price was increased here.

This has affected all custom goods, foodstuff, and transportation in my country.

            We have 4 more bicycles to buy. We will be grateful if we can have $400 for the bicycles and $300 to meet the overhead cost (Transporting the bicycles to the villages for the VEs)

            We lack words to express our Joy and Gratitude, but only we pray that our Dear Lord should bless you with good health and long life.

            The Lord should continue to keep and protect you from every imagination of the enemy.

   Hi Brother Jim:

          How are you today?  Am not hear from you these days. We are doing okay here and CDP program is progressing very rapidly, the number one concern of the VEs is needs for bikes to be able to finish well.

           We also have urgent needs of 200 bibles to be able to send these 200 men who have passed through VEs training and are ready to reach the Twi language group. Their area of operation is very vast and some bike will go a long way to solve distance problems.

           Thanks for your concern over the millions of souls in Nigeria. The problem of this nation is before GOD as we call upon him day in day out. He will do something thanks for your prayers.
          Nice laptops is about 1) $750 USD, 2) $800 USD, 3) $900 USD
There are still some that are more costly and other that are cheap depending on the quality and standard but any of this three could be useful for now, for I did not wish to bother you over this. By the grace of GOD we are doing all to reach to the dying soul.

    We thank you for your concern for the Souls of our people, may God bless you all in Jesus name.

    We have just had talk before this mail, Rev. Ogbuji could have written to you by himself, but due to the following; our agreement to delay till we get all our Coordinators and plans ready, and also we lack Internet facilities and Laptops, the one he had got bad and he could not see the Power pack here to buy. All our mailings and writings has all been through public business centers.

    Yes, the Jos crisis, even though the tension is somehow calming, yet Churches and lives has gone.

    We really need your prayers for now, Laptops and internet facilities to enable us to facilitate the job.

About CDP-Kenya

             We are expecting some great things to come from a visit to Kenya by our Dr. James Butare (Africa Outreach V.P. and Wycliffe Bible Translator). A verification and encouraging visit has been too long in coming – finally facilitated via Dr. Butare’s planned trip to Uganda with side visit to some Wycliffe personnel there in Nairobi. Pray that this trip will allow the programs in Kenya and Sudan both to be encouraged and generally found to be most effective in reaching u to those that otherwise are ignored and forgotten villagers.

             This has some special potential for the future, providing our CDP-Kenya leader (Evan. Joel Atuti), with some added support and encouragement from time to time from Wycliffe personnel. This is particularly timely since there have been some recent activities both in Kenya and in neighboring Sudan that have placed undue stress and strain on Joel and his team which might otherwise have been mitigated!

             Joel has been excited with the progress of both CDP-Kenya as well as helping to start CDP-Sudan, where both have grown at good rates – thoroughly meeting the needs of these challenging fields.

             We trust that Dr. Butare will also have an opportunity to see a fair sampling of the over 5,000 ministering VEs there in Kenya,  as well as some of the demographics related to  placement of the almost 5,000 candidate VEs being trained/placed in ten special areas. 

             Hopefully, by next newsletter we will have a great report for you!

Dare we press you to PRAY-–our national leaders and VEs are often in harms way!!

        As we believe we are approaching the last “few” years of our effort – at least as we plan it -- (we of course are always sensitive to our Father-God’s leading for updates and new/different directions we should take), we are truly excited with the nationals as they are so committed to finish well.  Actually – they are moving and growing and don’t seem too ready to taper off!  They are eager to reach all the lost of their home and neighboring tribes!  Let’s all remember them  regularly!!  Just remember – it  will be worth it all, when we see Jesus!!! – And He welcoming the “CDP” multitudes!!!    SELAH!!!
