Dear Outreacher:

We ever stand in awe as we see the Nationals of so many countries reaching out to their own Villagers so effectively.  Yes, they talk about Jesus. They story-tell the Good News to all that they can. Remember, each Village Evangelist (VE) is a power-house for the gospel.  In Ghana, Pastor Prince Paul Konu reported that each VE typically leads 20 Villagers to the Lord per week and regularly disciples them. Home fellowships grow into community churches for corporate Worship and body life instruction.

Note that the National leadership, Supervisors, and Village Evangelists (VEs) are autonomous.  They are self motivating and seek to stimulate and encourage candidate VEs as they learn to reach out to their own in ever more effective ways.

Within this framework they reach out to the ignored and forgotten of their land, and that is normally over half of the population of the land. Yes, it is an imposing task, one that standard foreign missions could not reach due chiefly to access difficulties as well as environmental and disease-related problems. Bottom line, foreign missionaries were often unable to handle the living conditions. Of course, this was all heightened by the fact that the missionary had special difficulties due to his color, his diet, his immune system, the languages and general inability to be a vital part of the community. With this understanding, we can really appreciate the way the Lord has directed our path to the autonomous national leaders and local support personnel that have a caring and sharing heart to reach out to their own.

So, with the National effectively leading and moving the various country CDP activities, and the growing CDP Global Network, we are ever conscious of their need to be committed to the Lord so that they are always operating under the Holy Spirit’s power and leading.

We are often challenged to change our commitment from volunteerism to do things like other mission agencies are doing such as providing stipends for all levels of personnel.  It sounds right, even intriguing, but totally impossible when one scales this out to all our countries, leaders, supervisors and VEs. So, now our people are all working for the Lord directly. They are committed to Him and delight in serving the true and living God that they represent!

Certainly there are difficulties, and each National at all levels of the organizations must make his own living and do his ministry on the side. Fortunately, he and the people being reached are generally available in off hours together at really key times to witness and story-tell the Good News, as well as help in nurturing new believers! Indeed, the CDP process is a very basic, grass-roots operation, where the mission is to reach the villagers for the Lord via witnessing and story-telling the Gospel. This allows the Holy Spirit to touch so many that have been waiting so long to hear of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Looking to the ‘maturing’ CDP Global Network, we are now making some special, more advanced teaching available to all that use our WEBSITE: me-intl.org as their plenum of CDP information. This new information is in the form of actual "Letters to Prince Paul" from Rev. David Kolb. Rev. Kolb has a caring heart and his mission is to help train national evangelists to become preachers, giving them special insights to the scriptures and to the needs of young evangelists.  Rev. Kolb has spent time with Pastor Paul in Ghana, and has also given us some great insights into the work and leadership there with the CDP-Ghana Network! One of his remarks indicated that the process that is used in CDP-Ghana is very good and is used very effectively! You can browse the two volumes of LETTERS TO PRINCE PAUL on our WEBSITE: me-intl.org.

Pray these “Letters” will be mightily used!

CDP GLOBAL NETWORK Field REPORTS

There have been varied activities with several of our CDP Global Network groups:

1.  This has involved getting two Laptop computers for CDP-Nigeria; also noting excellent progress in establishing key national leaders in the remaining 38 states of Nigeria.

With the growing CDP Network in Nigeria – the communication and management ties must be strengthened. Initially this involves computers and the Internet.  Ultimately, each of the states will require help to allow them to communicate into their headquarters coordinator in Lagos. For the present, we have had a donation for two Laptop computers which  will facilitate the present leadership to communicate with us and initiate activities with their other 38 states. We are  testing both the purchase of one in Nigeria and the sending of one from the USA – looking to establish the preferred method to use for the remaining purchases. Pray with us for CDP-Nigeria!

2.  Seeing Pastor Prince Paul Konu visit his remote groups.

Pastor Paul notes that they have purchased steel sheeting for two village church coverings – and also that there is a need for another village church that they just started this last few weeks. The below pictures show: 1) their worship center under a ‘weed’ covering;  2)  New believers line up for baptism; 3) A group of villagers; and 4) An act of baptism.  This village has no schools or churches, children walk 8-miles to nearest school.

    3.  CDP-Togo getting a good start establishing village activities.

Beloved Brothers:

Salutations in the wonderful name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

CDP Togo, have selected twenty VEs to train in twenty villages as commencement of work in our country.  Training and supervision will continue for a month in these villages.  We humbly need three hundred dollars ($300) to make this training successful.

We are very grateful for your love and concern for the unreached souls in the villages.  It is our prayer that God will give you good health and greater blessings. In His Grace,

4.  Planning a visit to CDP-Kenya this month.

Plans are being firmed for Dr. James Butare to visit our CDP-Kenya coordinator, Evangelist Joel Atuti, in Kenya on his way to activities in Uganda approximately in mid May.  More on this next month!     Pray for a safe and blessed visit and report!

5.     Making great progress on Audio/Digital Recording and Programming Unit

New recording equipment, now available commercially, is allowing us to have a much improved audio system very economically.  Troy Majeska, our VP-Audio Engineering, notes major improvement of even poor to bad audio recordings.  This portends soon having field recording/programming/player-loading capability. There is a need for funding this important equipment for each country of use and later to each major language center.  Initially we need about $20,000 for 10 systems!

6.    Initiating various activities with 'Orality' and 'Simply The Story' groups.

Although we have been deeply involved with audible teaching methods for many decades,we are always open to other approaches and ideas such as finding some interesting areas of cooperation and sharing. It is interesting that our methods are still viable and very effective in the CDP GLOBAL NETWORK operations.

7.    CDP-Liberia desiring to finish well and strong.

Our CDP-Liberia Coordinator, Evangelist J. Aaron Wright, is mounting a monitoring visit to all of their Outposts in Liberia – seeking to better apply the 3-to-1 On-The-Job training process.

With 380 VEs ministering, they are rapidly approaching their total complement of VEs that is needed to finish strong and well there in Liberia! He estimates a need for travel funds of about $1,800 to complete  the desired monitoring trips.

 8.     CDP-India seeking up-dated methods to reach the masses of India.

Dr. Jebasingh, our co-worker and coordinator for CDP-India, has been developing a video based process to help bridge the Outreach gap that they find in India. He is seeking to deploy their very considerable media team talents to accomplish this major breakthrough in communication to the lost in their villages. They have already established many key players in this process, seeking to solve both the technical as well as funding requirements locally. Pray for this revolutionary and challenging Outreach potential.

 9.      CDP-India/North is being established; we are expecting an update report soon.

With CDP-India covering the southern states of India, there has been interest by two other groups to help expedite the Northern and Eastern regions. In the north, a group has indicted that they will take on the challenge of that mainly Muslim area—seeking to allow all to hear about Jesus and his great Love. Pray that this northern group will find real blessing in serving the Lord in that important area of India!

10.    CDP-India/East has been established

The eastern region of India, primarily covered by West Bengali, represents about 40-million ignored and forgotten villages.  The CDP work has started and needs to gain traction to initiate the first Outposts so that

the needed growth can be attained on a timely basis. It is a difficult area, fraught with influences that are not agreeable to the Gospel message.  Pray that the Holy Spirit will provide and protect as they stand firmly on the sovereignty of our Father-God.

YES Please remember some of our newer startup countries:  CDP-Pakistan,

CDP-India/North and CDP-India/East, they will need to expedite their growth cycles to allow them to finish the desired outreach in the next few years.  Pray also, specially, for potential ministry of the CDP GLOBAL NETWORK in Morocco and Turkey – both need key national leadership to establish and manage the growth of the Volunteer Supervisors and Village Evangelists (VEs)—we are seeking to partner with related groups to help reach out to their ignored and forgotten peoples—that all might hear and believe!!!

PLEASE CONTINUE TO PRAY REGULARLY AT 6:00 PM

What We Believe

 1. We believe the Bible to be the inspired and only infallible Word of God.  2. We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.  3. We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in his sinless life, in His miracles, in his vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in power and glory. 4. We believe that for the salvation of lost sinful man, regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential.  5. We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a Godly life.  6. We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; they that are saved unto the resurrection of life and they that are lost unto the resurrection of damnation. 7. We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ.  8. We believe that the church comprises all true believers and that the mission of the church, with Christ as its head, is to communicate the Gospel of Christ to all the world.
