Dear Outreacher:

We rejoice that the National leaders and Village Evangelists (VEs) are continuing steadfastly to complete the task at hand-–yes, reaching out to all their own ignored and forgotten Villagers with the Good News of the Gospel of Light and Life!  Praise the Lord indeed!

“Our” remaining job, as defined by the VEs needs, is to help them all finish strong and well—hopefully allowing us the privilege of completing the equipping of all the VEs and new Church pastors. Yes, we desire to help them to be just as effective and powerful as possible, in His time!

 Global Recordings Partnership

We have had special cause to rejoice as our Father-God has brought Global Recordings (formerly, Gospel Recordings) closer into partnership with us. This will allow their very notable cassette messages and audio players to be used in many of our country activities; also, their key global representatives are available to help us verify and better define our field activities, providing important added and unimpeachable knowledge of our country leaders and their CDP GLOBAL NETWORK activities. We praise the Lord for His moving on the hearts of the Global Recording leadership to solidify this fine spirit of cooperation with us! We particularly appreciate the kind efforts of GR’s President, Colin Stott, as well as Ross Lange, Rowland Heck and other key staff members, at their headquarters in Temecula, California.

Pray that we might ever be good partners and that we might only do that which lifts up the Lord Jesus Christ and points men to Him.

Nigeria

Speaking of cooperative groups, we are so very pleased to see our key leaders, who are part of a large denominational group there in Nigeria, moving ahead very rapidly. They have established key State leaders for their local CDP Global Network, in all of the States of Nigeria. They will collectively be reaching out to about 80 million otherwise ignored and forgotten Villagers! Evangelist Paul Mba has established and set a wonderful pace for the expansion that is now possible jointly with our bother Rev. Friday Ogbuji. Yes, they have melded key denominational leaders into a very imposing coordinated effort in all the states of Nigeria.  This effort is now being coordinated by the dual leadership of Evangelist Paul Mba and Rev. Friday Ogbuji—each providing great strengths to the ongoing outreach and growth of the CDP GLOBAL NETWORK in Nigeria. This is particularly note worthy since Nigeria has the largest population of all the African countries. Of course, this places severe requirements for startup audio players, as well as bicycles to allow the VEs to be most effective—providing outreach to the widely scattered villages. Pray with us for partners who will stand with these stalwarts to get this task done on a timely basis.

Question--how many $50.00 audio players will you provide (Note: each player will help to reach out to about 10,000 Villagers). Each bicycle costs $100.00 and will enable the VE to reach out to about 12 times as many as he can do on foot!

You can do the math—

80 Million divided by 10,000 indicates

a need for about 8,000 VEs

and related equipment

over the next several year’s

growth periods.

Evangelist J. Aaron Wright has provided the following Comprehensive Report of their dynamic CDP GLOBAL NETWORK.  Liberia is a very special country, uniquely echoing its heritage from slave days in the USA to essential Christian values in its governmental structure. Yet, typical of other African countries, about 50% of its citizens are ignored and forgotten villagers.

They have 577 VEs ministering and 1,756 VEs in training.  5,326 Villagers being discipled. 11,872 Villagers brought to Jesus with 5,544 accepting baptism. 21 Church Fellowships established.

Our Brother Aaron and CDP-Liberia are well on their way to finish well and strong as they continue to grow via the on-the-job training process—their volunteer leaders and VEs all working autonomously as unto the Lord. Remember to Pray regularly for these that are on the front line of this battle for souls of those tht are otherwise ignored and forgotten.

As we believe we are approaching the last “few” years of our effort – at least as we plan it -- (we of course are always sensitive to our Father-God’s leading for updates and new/different directions we should take), we are truly excited with the nationals as they are so committed to finish well.  Actually – they are moving and growing and don’t seem too ready to taper off!  They are eager to reach all the lost of their home and neighboring tribes!  Let’s all remember them  regularly!!  You bet!  And it will be worth it all, when we see Jesus!!!
