As we see world events devastating many nations, we are again mindful that time is fleeting and we may all soon be in that dark night time when no man can work!  Natural events, earthquakes and Tsunami waves have left Japan reeling with loss of lives and major destruction.

      Egypt and Liberia are in political turmoil--their fates hanging by a thread--precious souls in the balance. Yes, Satan seems to be wining the day. We can 'only' pray!

      Yet, we rejoice, that in most developing countries, there is light growing as the CDP (Cassette Discipleship Program) GLOBAL NETWORK is regularly reaching out, via their own Village Evangelists (VEs), with the precious Gospel of Light and Life in Christ Jesus!

      Pastor Prince Paul Konu of CDP-GHANA has sent the following encouraging report and pictures--truly a bright light shinning in the dark: 
 

Hi brother Jim.

We are serving a great God in heaven. He is still calling men and women to him regardless of their color and where they lives. This is villagers have receive Christ. In left picture a new church is planted among this village people,

 you can see the joy in their faces, that day we put a metal roof on their church building, this building is full of people about 620 people, adult only. In right picture a baptism service which 54 women and 62 men ware baptize here last week.

 What a joy seeing people coming to the Lord, This month we recorded 421 baptism and 1541 profession of faith. we also put roof on three church building, also six bike and 100 bibles ware given to our church leaders and churches. Continue to keep us in your prayers, as more new churches planted, more bibles, metal roof and bike is needed.

• As we see each of our country groups heading into the final days to reach out to their own otherwise ignored and forgotten, we rejoice knowing that our Father-God is really in charge and all of these that are autonomous have dedicated themselves to complete the needed outreach--yes, they are doing it and often express their delight and thanks to God for their opportunities!

   

• Remember that it is our desire to get all VEs equipped with players ($50.00) and  finish well even if/when we are cut off from any further assistance to them! It now     seems that such a cut-off event is quite likely, so we want to have all national workers  and VEs ready and able to minister even in and through any catastrophic world event  which they are able to survive. It is quite likely that they will be less damaged and for an  existence.

    

• We are seeing other groups coming 'along side' to provide follow up and church  growth support for our village activities--even our own Dr. James Butare has been  deeply involved in a community support activity which has become an excellent  vocational training activity. It is called Cornerstone Vocational Institute (CVI) and will  now be a part of our overall activities in support of future church and community  growth capabilities. More on this in future days!
