Happy New Year 2011

Trust you had a Blessed and Wonderful Christmas and are looking forward to an exciting New Year 2011 with us. We are so blessed as we see the nationals so dedicated to see the lost brought to Jesus.

We have been especially blessed as our CDP-Ghana Coordinator, Pastor Prince Paul Konu, just visited Evangelist Joel Atuti in Kenya, reporting that they are doing very well – “it look’s a lot like Ghana” Paul says. There are 5,400 Village Evangelists (VEs) ministering and another 4,500 Candidate VEs preparing to be placed in ten special areas. We were especially pleased that Joel and Paul seemed to bond in plan and purpose, Joel commenting that he hoped Paul could drop by again soon.

Dec. 7, 2010

Hi Brother Jim:

Thanks for your many prayers. I finally the trip to Kenya Nairobi on the 30 Dec,2010,Joel Atuti send a driver to pick me at the airport at 1.30 am to the hotel, In the morning we embarked on our trip by train to southern Kenya town called Mombassa second largest city in Kenya, it took about 14 hours by train from Mombassa we went to the villages where the work is, We meeting with over one hundred VEs and total of 70 supervises in one area, the work in Kenya is not different from Ghana, We also went to another area and we meet with another group of two hundred VEs and 20 supervise, we also visit many other VEs in another area. In all we meet with two language group Joel is working with, Joel is work with committed leaders in the villages who are doing most of the work. In short Joel is working. Also from the reliable source Joel was in Sudan and some of the leadership confirmed that Joel stay in Sudan for Seven try to established CDP there but there was attack from the Moslem there and one of Joel man from Sudan was killed when he try to rebel to authority. Joel’s Pastor confirmed the story, It was also established that Joel have a cousin who is a police bear the same name with Joel, I do not have the chance to meet with him. I understand he is serving in the police in Kenya Ethiopia border this I was first confirmed by Joel sister and the Pastor. On Sunday morning service I was ask to preach in Nairobi in the first and the second service. I think Joel needs more support to do the work there. I will be sending pics of the trip soon; the net here is very slow.

The New Year 2011

As we enter this new year 2011 we are mindful that we are really quite helpless, for as we have EMPOWERED our Country Coordinators, even setting them apart to be autonomous, we have overtly limited our field involvement and asked those dedicated leaders and supervisors to “do it” and without much sustaining effort on our part. This, of course, is both necessary and expedient; since there is no way we can be effective to so many and in so many languages and cultures. This is exactly why the Lord leads us to EMPOWER key people in each country, even those that He has prepared for just such a time as this! Now you know why we can relax, knowing that the National leaders are led of His Holy Spirit!

Report from CDP-Kenya,

Evangelist Joel Atuti

        I am so glad to report that it is like we have just started after the coming of Pastor Paul Konu. His coming was timely as I said before. Things were collapsing but thank God he came.
The latest report I have is that 40 souls came to the Lord three days ago. It was due to the MegaVoice Units. Praise God!
We are asking for some units in the following languages:
        Digo --------------------------20
        Duruma----------------------20
        Kamba/kikamba-----------20
        Mijikenda--------------------20
The above tribes must be reached if God wills.
Apart from the above there is a need for 20 bikes.

The New Year 2011

It is now a new year; it is bright and shinny with opportunities that you and I may capture for our Lord. We trust that we will all be ready to care and share as these opportunities come knocking at our doors! Thousands of our VEs need Audio Players and bicycles. We have particular joy in ENABLING them since they are so dedicated in their efforts for our Lord—impacting the lives of so many yet needing to hear! Remember, the Audio Players cost $50.00 each and the Bikes cost $100.00 each–we find that a bike allows a VE to reach 12 times as many! It is a real challenge since we could right now place over 15,000 Audio Players and Bicycles to allow our present VEs to be fully effective! Just imagine the added souls that would be harvested!

We know that we are getting nearer and nearer to the night that no one can work – we must work while it is light (in the light of His Word and Holy Spirit). Please pray with us that we might all be faithful and ready always to give His word of testimony. This we said last month, but it is 31 days closer than before! Time is racing towards the End-Time; help us to find His partners for helping us and them in the nations with their needed equipment support. Lets make this a well known need, break away from being the world’s best kept secret!

Yes, pray that the Lord of the Harvest will send forth workers and partners into this amazing harvest of souls!
