Dear Outreacher,

We are approaching the time when outreach growth of each of our CDP GLOBAL NETWORK countries should be maximizing outreach. Yet, only a few are regularly providing updated feedback of their operations. Foremost, please pray with us that their zeal and commitment does not wane and that they are faithfully reaching out to all those villagers that otherwise are so ignored and forgotten!—yes, lost but precious in His sight! Also, as they are blessed and challenged, that we might be regularly updated! 

            Pastor Prince Paul Konu and CDP-Ghana is still our Poster Board group, providing blessing and challenge regularly every month! We can only hope that all the others are similarly being blessed as souls are being brought to Jesus.  He has sent us his August update, a great report following the terrible beating he suffered at the hands of four marauding Muslim terrorists just a few months ago!  Please remember Paul and all our leaders and Village Evangelists (VE) that often face beatings and death as Satan will ever try to intimidate and quell the Good News of the Gospel. It seems that the climate of outreach is heating up, and we and they must all stand in the might and power of the Holy Spirit. He alone is our/their source of power to truly fuel and facilitate the message to hurting hearts!

               Pastor Konu reports:  "Dear brother Jim. What a joy to serve the master in this way. Glory be to His Name. Past three month was very rough for us here, in all these things He prove Himself faithful to us.We had another frutful trip last week seeing hundards coming to Lord, By His Grace we had 230 went through baptism. It took us four days to do these in four different location,we are able to organise another church with membership of 75 people.And during the day we do have leadership training for the VEsand the pastors and 67 of them show up.And the night we do heldcrusade and good number villagers show up to hear the good news peach and many give their life to Christ. We had a report of 1200 people contacted with the gospel and 801 made profession of faith among the Twi tribe, The VEs are busy reach out the villagers, but their greatest need is still bikes and bibles. We are having troble getting ambassador unit and cassttes players. We also need roofs some two churches that having trouble in this rain season. Next few day I hope to send the report from other tribe group.We are really by your partnership. God bless you. Looking forward seeing in first week in Nov.2011. "

New believers in Ghana awaiting baptism.

Remember these as they face their new challenges of life in Christ—often as not they face severe family and friends opposition! They have good opportunities to grow in their new life in Christ as they become part of the local home and/or community churches which are always started under the CDP GLOBAL NETWORK VEs and leaders!

A Baptism in progress

In these typical muddy little ponds, there are all too often many interesting and often hazardous little creatures. These often cause sickness and skin rashes.  Not too bad for the one being baptized as for the baptizers who are often in the water for hours at a time. Yes, our leaders and VEs need our Lord’s protection all the time!  Let’s include them all in our regular 6:00 PM prayers every day!
